The story about how Charles Xavier first met Erik Lensherr.
Together with a group of mutants they go after one Sebastian Shaw in the midst
of the Cuban Missile Crisis. But it soon becomes apparent that Erik and Charles
have different views on how Mutants and Humans should interact. It frays their
friendship to the breaking point, but lays the groundwork for the relationship
we see in other movies between them. The idea that they have gone their
separate ways and are now enemies, but there is still that underlying
affection. This is one time that a prequel did it right.
