Strictly speaking this not a mummy movie, but it has a mummy
in it, so I’m counting it in my lineup. The movie centers around new night
watch man Larry Daley that learns that deep in the museum is a magical talisman
that brings all the exhibits alive during the night. Accompanied by Teddy
Roosevelt he has to try to keep everything moving smoothly night after night.
When the former night watch men steal the talisman because it helped them feel
younger he has to rally the museum exhibits together to steal back their
talisman and continue in their existence. This movie was followed by two sequels.
The second one is good. I’ve never seen the third one.
